DESCRIPTION:About:				\n				\n				\n						\n									The PAA Ethics Round Tables (PERT)\, is a peer-support program to enhance ethical professional practice and decision making. Seats are limited to 20\, and only the first 20 applicants with valid participation agreements will receive a seat. This program is not intended to provide clinical supervision nor to offer an expert opinion or detailed consultation on one specific case. This program is not personalized professional guidance such as that offered by PAA’s Professional Guidance program. These sessions will not be recorded\, and minutes or notes will not be taken. 								\n				\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n						\n					Facilitator:				\n				\n				\n						\n					Linda Forde				\n				\n					\n		\n				\n			\n						\n						\n																														\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n						\n									Linda began her introduction to psychotherapy and group facilitation in 1996 after she completed her undergraduate education at the University of Toronto in Psychology with the opportunity to develop an Anger Management Group for men who were participating in the Domestic Violence Court Pilot project. She acquired my Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2004\, and her license for practice as a psychologist in 2011\, and shortly afterward\, acquired a Certificate in Clinical Supervision of Psychology. She helped launch the Urban Counselling Network in the inner city at Boyle Street Community Services in 2009 and then initiated a Partnership with City University to expand the capacity for service delivery while increasing understanding for students in the field on how to provide psychotherapy to marginalized populations. In 2013 she began her work with children and youth. She also began facilitation of a Women’s Domestic Violence group at Parkland Turning Points Society.
