SUMMARY:PAA Ethics Round Table - From i-d-e-A's to Impact: Cultural Responsivity in a changing world w/ Baljinder Sull
DESCRIPTION:About:				\n				\n				\n						\n									The PAA Ethics Round Tables (PERT)\, is a peer-support program to enhance ethical professional practice and decision making. Seats are limited to 15\, and only the first 15 applicants with valid participation agreements will receive a seat. This program is not intended to provide clinical supervision nor to offer an expert opinion or detailed consultation on one specific case. This program is not personalized professional guidance such as that offered by the College of Alberta Psychologist’s Professional Guidance program nor is it one-to-one practice advisor support such as that offered by the PAA Practice Advisor Program. These sessions will not be recorded\, and minutes or notes will not be taken.   								\n				\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n						\n					Facilitator:				\n				\n				\n						\n					Baljinder Sull				\n				\n					\n		\n				\n			\n						\n						\n																														\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n						\n									I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists.  I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology\, and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. I began my practice in early 2018 and have worked in a variety of counselling and organizational environments.  I am based in the greater Calgary area\, and support clients across the province both in person and/or virtually.  I am bilingual (English and Punjabi speaking)\, and work with clients on a variety of concerns such as: abuse\, anxiety\, depression\, addiction\, trauma\, & grief\, and loss.  My passions include working with the global majority populations to diminish stigma and discrimination and exploring options to reduce barriers in accessing services.   I also work in organizational settings\, and my experience extends across a range of fields such as health care\, oil & gas\, legal\, and front-line services.  I have worked with for-profit and not-for-profit organizations\, municipalities\, and post-secondary institutes.  I support organizations through psycho-educational workshops on topics such as setting healthy boundaries\, healthy communication\, understanding and managing stress.  Some of my areas of interest include Diversity in the Workplace\, Grief and Loss\, Trauma Informed Care\, and Healthy Ways to Cope.  								\n				\n				\n						\n					Registration:				\n				\n				\n						\n									You must be logged in to submit the form.
